Over the years I have learned that there is simply no greater enjoyment than the creation of something with your own two hands. Whether it be cooking, painting, playing music, or my personal favorite – knitting.

I have been knitting for just around 3 years now and am still as passionate about it as I was when I first began learning (just ask any of my family members who have entirely new wardrobes thanks to me!). I like to make practical things, such as hats, socks, and scarves. Even more recently I have begun more difficult things like sweaters and gloves. After buying so books on knitting patterns, I finally discovered that my hughes internet service is an excellent source for the harder things I am now taking on.

Some of my friends prefer to knit with a machine, but I guess I’m just old fashioned because a ball of yarn and pair of knitting needles I’ve ordered with satellite internet michiganis the only thing that can get my hands itching for some work. I just can’t get the same sense of pride out of the cloth after the machine has had it’s part in my art.

Trust me, after you have knit your first piece and handed it to a loved one knowing that every stitch in it was placed with care, I think you will be right along with me that there is just no better way to pass the time.
