I have been knitting for just around 3 years now and am still as passionate about it as I was when I first began learning (just ask any of my family members who have entirely new wardrobes thanks to me!). I like to make practical things, such as hats, socks, and scarves. Even more recently I have begun more difficult things like sweaters and gloves. I just can’t get the same sense of pride out of the cloth after the machine has had it’s part in my art.

Trust me, after you have knit your first piece and handed it to a loved one knowing that every stitch in it was placed with care, I think you will be right along with me that there is just no better way to pass the time.
